What are the 3 things you should do with or for your mom while she is still here?
Here are some of the responses to the question I received when I asked
What are the 3 things you should do with or for your mom while she is still here?
Love her. Accept her for who she was and is (let go of any past grievances) and spend time with her.
——–
✨Talk openly about some sad or hard feelings that might be between you and her.
✨Create understanding and sympathy for the circumstances and time spirit in which she grew up.
✨Love her and tell her you do
——–
Spend quality time together. Ask about her life before kids, etc. Let her tell stories and listen to them, they are priceless.
——–
Listen, laugh and love! I wish that I knew more about her childhood, I didn’t know that I would want that information as I aged and evolved.
1. Ask all the questions. Ask her about her life, what it was like being a woman in the environments and places she lived, what has brought her alive, where she struggled, what it was like growing up in her family, etc. I wish I had asked my mom more questions that as a woman approaching 40 knew as I do ancestral work. 2. Do things together that make you both come alive, expand and feel connected. If you have a good relationship of course. 3. Finally, sharing with her how much you are grateful she brought you into this world (at least that’s something I’d say).
——–
1. Help her clear out her junk from clothing to expired food.
2. If you can afford it, occasionally buy items she needs such as appliances
3. Spend time in her company in thoughtful conversations. And laughter
——–
Honor her (to the best of your ability)
——–
Maybe tell her you love her, while you still can.
Preferably before shes drfting off to the afterlife while dying in your arms!
——–
As Buddhists, teach her dhamma and meditation. Encourage her to do merits etc.
——–
Talk to her, support her financially, and hug her
——–
Take her on trips (day trips or vacations), slow down and relax with her, lastly, tell her you love her every time you see her.
——–
Give back what she give to you 🌹❤️
——–
Living in different states.
1 visit often
2 call everyday
3 listen to all she has to share as bout her daily life.
Respect and Love your moms for they create all of us ✌️💜⚡️

Take her to breakfast, dinner, cook whatever
——–
Here or in the spirit world, the bond is strong. We can always communicate with presence and love.
——–
Spend a lot more time with her while you can…trust me on that..
——–
Respect her, love her, and set boundries regardless of our relationship status
——–
Forgive and accept her for who she was is and is yet to be be

Not only were we oil and water, I have found that several girls in my spiritual group who have awakened also had horrible relationships with their mother. All of us would have answered nothing but pray. But now that we understand about Soul contracts and that these moms were just playing the terrible role that they were supposed to play, I have learned to say thank you. (My Awakening kick started less than 24 hours after she died)
——–
Have her tell you her birth story. Find out any info about her mother and her grandmother. Listen without taking anything personally. You may never know her struggles unless you ask and you will never know unless you ask while she is alive.
——–
Love, comfort and support
——–
I cook dinner for my Mom twice a week. I take her to flower nurseries and fruit orchards. I organize her closets & fridge. I help her with gardening. I fix things that are broke if i can.
——–
Sort through family photos, ask about her childhood, and have outings together (out to eat, a bit of shopping, meandering drives, or even visit family cemeteries. My mother is 94 and I’m 72. We have done, and are still doing, these things, and more.
——–
Take her to lunch and shopping often . Take lots of pictures . Tell her you love her every time you leave her.
——–
Ask for the facts from your childhood and family tree. For your childhood recipes. Ask to get to know your far relations and the places some of them are buried.
——–
Visit her, pray for her, let her tell you stories about the family
——–
Get to know her as a person and not just your mom. Who is she really? What are her passions? What are her favorite memories from every decade? What were her original goals and aspirations? If she could go anywhere or do anything what would it be?
