🪔Diwali/Deepavali is a celebration of exuberance. The exuberance of you and the life around you. The celebration is considered a celebration, only when it brings joy, love and well-being to people around you and one ensures that they brighten a few faces on this auspicious occasion. Attaining the highest fulfilment and a sense of renewal is the purpose of Diwali.

🪔Deepavali is made of two words Deep and Avali meaning array of lights. The world needs your LIGHT 🪔🪔🪔. If we embody a higher state of consciousness and have empowered thoughts we are in a state of Diwali.

Diwali and the different assosiations.
Dhanteras – The Day to Invite Prosperity and Wealth Into Our Lives
Dhanteras also known as Dhanatrayodashi or or Dhanvantari Trayodashi is the day when Lord Vishnu incarnated as “Dhanvantri” – The father of Ayurveda from the churning of the ocean (samudramanthan). It is also the day when Goddess Sri Lakshmi appeared out of the same ocean during the churning that was undertaken by the devas and the asuras. Dhanteras is celebrated on the thirteenth lunar day of Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) in the month of Karthik. ‘Dhan’ means wealth, and ‘Teras’ means 13th day.
Diwali begins with Dhanteras and the celebration of Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Kubera and Lord Dhanvantari. This day is aimed to increase abundance and prosperity. Dhanteras the master of Ayurveda and health assists with cleansing, renewal, and the securing of auspiciousness in the form of Lakshmi.
Return of Lord Rama: In the northern part of India, Diwali is associated with the return of Lord Rama, his wife Sita, and his brother Lakshmana to their kingdom of Ayodhya after defeating the demon king Ravana. The people of Ayodhya welcomed them by lighting oil lamps, and this tradition continues with the lighting of lamps during Diwali.
Goddess Lakshmi’s Blessings: Diwali is also celebrated to seek the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth, prosperity, nobility, dignity, purity and abundance. It is believed that on the night of Diwali, Goddess Lakshmi visits homes that are clean and well-lit, bringing abundance, prosperity and blessings to the residents.
Krishna’s Victory over Narakasura: In some parts of India, particularly in South India, Diwali is celebrated to commemorate the victory of Lord Krishna over the demon Narakasura. This event is associated with the story of Krishna freeing 16,000 captive princesses and restoring their honor.
