Navaratri Festival – Durga – Lakshmi – Saraswati

Navaratri is a highly conducive time to get to know ourselves at a deeper level and to connect with the universal energies where we can see and understand the bigger picture and why we are here.

DURGA

Fierceness, elegance, Invincibility, capability.

Feminine counterpart of the “destruction operator” in nature. – Like a stern mother ensuring we are following the laws of nature, or else, some destruction will occur to shake us up.

The Divine personality known as ‘Durga’ sits on her tiger with infinite arms holding shining weapons ready to slay the demons. This is expressive of the capability of pure Being (infinite arms) to dissolve (slay) negativity, stress and disease (demons). These aspects of consciousness are referred to as Durga in the Veda.

LAKSHMI

Abundance.

Increase of flow.

Choosing the higher value of behaviour over the lower value of behaviour.

Having every resource at the tip of your fingers. Because they align to the value of which nature is desiring for you and the universe.

It is our natural-born heritage to be abundant. If mother nature is abundant, then we are.

These aspects of consciousness are referred to as Lakshmi in the Veda.

If we have Lakshmi we have everything, she is the very Essence and Source of the highest BLISS and material and spiritual abundance.

Lakshmi comes from the Sanskrit word “Laksya”, which means “goal” or “pursuit”.

The word `Lakshmi’ can be also derived from the roots `La’ which means `to give’ and `Kship’ which means `to inspire’. Thus Lakshmi means the one who gives us the wealth of knowledge that inspires us to achieve the highest state of realization of the Self.

Goddess Lakshmi is the direct manifestation of material and spiritual wealth.

In most cases however, her name, “Lakshmi”, is synonymous with good luck and power.

She represents all that is good, beautiful and sweet in the cosmos. Her name also implies the actualization of spiritual goals. Lakshmi is all about taking action and putting theoretical knowledge and wisdom that you have acquired into action.

Her sacred name, Shri, is regarded as one of the holiest words. Not only does the name present a feeling of fulfillment, auspiciousness and contentment, but it also bestows enormous reverence on the word that comes after it.

Lakshmi helps people accomplish their goals in life –such as Spiritual goals, food, shelter, resources that are needed to live in the physical world, progeny, patience and courage, abundance, success and knowledge.

The symbol of the goddess is the lotus flower. She always pictured with the lotus flower/bud in her hand. The lotus symbolizes beauty, motherhood and purity.

SARASWATI

Music, arts, culture.

Feminine aspect of creation – the force of Natural Law (prakriti) that creates all expressed values on the basis of pure intelligence (Purusha).

Education and knowledge. Personification of divine knowledge.

These aspects of consciousness are referred to as Saraswati in the Veda.

Infinite adaptability and infinite organising power (Shakti)

Nourishing, nurturing, protecting (Devi)

The golden age is here. It is a frequency that those who have cleared out a big chunk of their karma can tap in.

Those who have pure hearts are already able be feel those frequencies. Use the power of compassion and love and be fearless. This will bring you peace of mind.

Do not doubt yourself even for a second. The biggest merit is confidence, a steady connection and unshakable faith.

As this Navaratri begins, we have the opportunity to ask ourselves what is it that is keeping us in the world of illusion.

Change is the one and only constant of creation and is therefore the rule and not the exception.

If we allow change instead to resist it we will naturally create more stability in all aspects of our life and invite more flow. It’s only the ego that fears the unknown and equates therefore stability with leaving everything like or to holding on to the past or to what is known.

And that’s the kink in the hose that clogs the pipes for expansion and the experiences of inner freedom, elevation of consciousness and lightness.

Space clearing to increase the flow of Abundance and Prosperity

Our ancestors all around the world have been highly aware of the importance of purification and clearing rituals.

They conducted those rituals because they knew that they would invite innumerable blessings into their lives and eliminate any unnecessary weight and energetic density.

The less baggage you carry within and around you and the lighter you feel the easier it will be to invite abundance into your life.

Once the entrance is neat and tidy move to your bedroom to ensure that you get the highest quality sleep.

Our bedrooms are our private sanctuaries. A space where we spend most of our time. A serene, balanced energy throughout the sacred space sets the tone for the next day.

Our subconscious mind is highly effective during the night.

According to feng shui experts, sleeping is when our ‘third eye’ awakens and our vital life force explores the area through a higher level of consciousness. As such, the placement of our bed dictates the main energy source in our bedroom that directly affects our own energy too.

What is the best direction for the bed to face?

Arrange your bed using the principle of the commanding position.

It means that your bed is located in such a way that when you are lying in it, you can see the door to the bedroom without being directly in line with it. A good rule of thumb for bedroom feng shui is to place the bed diagonal from the door.

In case this is not possible place a mirror so that when you are in bed you can see the reflection of the door.

Clear out your nightstands remove anything unnecessary and keep any shelves that you might have in your bedroom as clear and tidy as possible.

22 September 2025 – Sun Enters Libra/ Equinox and Start of Navaratri

The Autumn Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere represents a point of perfect balance on the journey through the wheel of the year.

Day and Night are of equal length and in perfect equilibrium – light and dark, feminine and masculine, inner and outer, in balance.

No matter if you are based in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere, you will feel a shift of energy during an Equinox.

And you will most likely also feel that something has to be released and let go of during this shift to create space of the the new season or to enable the new to come into full bloom.

We cannot escape the cycle of Birth and Death. As soon as we have learned the lessons from one cycle, a new cycle begins to offer us another opportunity for transformation, expansion and evolution.

Experiences are the purpose of life but none of the experiences should pull us down or bind us since everything in this material world is transitionary and temporary in nature.

Everything in life is a dance between masculine and feminine polarities, a play between stillness and movement, between soft and strong. And sometimes also a play between being in LOVE with life and experiencing the highest form of devastation that breaks our heart open so that we can continue to be receptive to the wonders of all of creation that lie beyond our current ability to comprehend why things happen as they did or as they do.

The Power of pure creative potential of consciousness itself can be only understood if we are aware of our multidimensional nature and the ambiguities inherent in human existence itself.

Do not fear disruption since the discomfort may catapult you into the direction of your highest timeline.

You were created from ecstasy, love and light and you are an infinite, multidimensional BEING.

Any unpleasant feeling or experience is an opportunity to unite with your True Essence, to let go of projections and illusions, to awaken into your integral state and to create a timeline of highest joy and fulfillment.

Unless we have tasted the nectar of our True Essence we will keep analysing why things have happened as they did. Overthinking and overidentification with past events is a play of the mind that keeps us glued the the material existance and stands in the way of experiencing true inner freedom.

When we are free from our past negative experiences and the attached emotions it becomes easy to connect with our True Self, and we can taste the sweetness of our real essence more often while life is happening – even at times when there many challenges that we need to overcome.

Once you reach this stage, you can play, and life becomes an ecstatic explosion of synchroniciets and there will be a certain level of detachment.

From a pure and unpolluted state we have access to infinite possibilities, and we can start to jump time lines and parallel realities as long as they are aligned with our higher purpose.

In a nutshell the our purpose is to overcome our challenges, to enrich the quality of life for all of creation and to rise to higher and higher levels of consciousness.

How can you enrich the quality of life for others by using your natural gifts and talents?

How can you be of service by enriching the quality of existence in all of its dimensions?

How can you access and create new dimensions that you are currently not aware or that are currently out of your reach?

In 2025, Shardiya Navratri will commence on September 22 and conclude with Vijayadashami on October 2.

Navaratri is the Festival of the Divine Mother and a highly potent and unique time to release darkness from within that disallows us to experience a steady connection to cosmic consciousness.
