Return to your center with the help of a Labyrinth

Did you know that the labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness and that it represents our journey in life?

Labyrinths have been used as meditation and prayer tools for a very long time.

Today I would like to share with you an amazing way how you can get back to your centre and receive clear guidance, especially when you feel stuck, or when you feel that you have deviated from your path or when your mind is restless. 

When our mind is too restless and busy or when we feel overwhelmed and stressed we can’t hear the messages of our higher Self, the voice of our Spirit and Soul clearly. 

During those times we have the opportunity to reach out for help or we can find creative methods and tools which will help us to find our way back to our centre and our core. 

A few weeks ago I visited Glastonbury which is a prominent sacred site in the UK, and I found at the entrance of the St. Margaret’s Chapel & Magdalene Almshouses the following finger labyrinth.

The instruction was to take a long deep breath and to relax and then to place a finger from your non-dominant hand at the entrance and to gently close your eyes. 

You could also make a wish or set an intention for your journey. The next step was to travel along the grooved path and to remain open to any emotions or thoughts which arise and to allow the journey to unfold naturally. If you feel that you need some time to ponder and reflect you were allowed to stop at any point but the main focus should remain on “letting go” and “going with the flow!”
Our lives have many unexpected twists and turns which often take us away from our centre. 
The centre point of a labyrinth is a timeless place where you can be just yourself or where you can meditate or pray and most of all quiet the outer world and listen to your inner voice and the divine. 

During the Middle Ages many Christians completed their pilgrimages by walking the labyrinth. 
Since most people could not make the grand pilgrimage to Jerusalem, considered by Christians to be the centre of the world, and symbolizing the Kingdom of Heaven, they would make pilgrimages to important cathedrals such as Canterbury or Santiago de Compostella

Next time when you have the opportunity to walk through a labyrinth and your mind is not too busy or restless you can ask a question which is dear to your heart and it is very likely that you will receive an answer or some guidance.

As mentioned above the middle of the labyrinth represents your centre, your essence and your true Self.

And once you make your way back you can see it as a way back to the world. Any insights and messages you receive on the way back might be hints what you are meant to bring out into the world, but also the lessons which your soul/higher Self would like you to experience. 

At the end of your walk, you should not forget to give gratitude for any guidance you have received. 

A labyrinth is also often used as a protection symbol. At the entrance of a house or holy place, it is believed to cleanse and to purify those who enter the space. 

A labyrinth in nature helps to heal the land and it clears lower vibrations and it is believed to energize the land. 

The following picture illustrates that you can easily draw a labyrinth yourself.  

Start always with a dot to mark your centre (picture below). 
The next step is to draw a horizontal line through the dot and a vertical line through the dot. Then draw a dot and small angle into each square. 

The next step is to connect in sequence from the left to the right clockwise all dots and line ends of the pattern in arc-shaped lines. If you practice this a few times you will be amazed at how simple it is. 

If you wish you can create a sacred space by lightening a candle, listening to some relaxing music before you start drawing.

Drawing your own labyrinth stands symbolically for drawing the temple of you! The way you draw it and what you learn and experience during this process becomes a symbol of you. And the best part of it is that it will get you out of your head and into your heart!

Why a balance between giving and receiving is crucial

A healthy self-esteem is an essential requirement for everything including abundance and spiritual connection. It is only if you have a healthy self-esteem that you will trust your intuitive leads unconditionally and take action. Instead of waiting for permission from someone. 
There is a very close link between a lack of self-respect and not listening to one’s intuition

Before true abundance can show up in your everyday life, you first have to experience it in your entire Being!

In your mind – body and soul! Which is often challenging because the majority grew up with many lack beliefs. 

Joy + Gratitude + Openness + Self confidence + Appreciation + Non attachment = creates an irresistible field of energy which attracts abundance. ☘️🌹☘️

Shame + Guilt + Resentment + Disappointment + Hate + Rage + Jealousy + Greed + Insecurity = repels abundance. 

Abundance does not happen by accident and just like the whole garden is not created overnight it might take some effort,  and dedication until you will weed out the negative lack beliefs but you will definitely see results over time if you keep planting the right “seeds” and take inspired fearless & courageous action. 

Now and then I receive emails and enquiries that someone would like to work with me but they can’t afford it. 

I put much effort and energy into creating digital products and lots of free content while serving others to the best of my capacity. I have also a very solid spiritual practice and I do work regularly on my abundance and prosperity consciousness. Through discipline, dedication, vigilance, trust, perseverance and aligning my will with the divine I have experienced again and again that prosperous and creative thinking does definitely help to align with creative opportunities. 

Using the universal laws of abundance does not mean that you will become a millionaire (unless this is your life purpose) but you will learn to trust that your needs will always be met when you live your life in accordance to the universal principles and do your part and most of all show up on a consistent basis. 

One measurement of spiritual prosperity is that you can remain calm and turn inwards for guidance if you experience a seeming lack of supply. Whatever you place your attention upon over an extended period becomes your experience and your life. If you entertain an anxious, tense, greedy, unforgiving state of mind, you will repel favourable circumstance, opportunities and abundance. 

The material manifested world and the mental plane are not separated, they are the two halves of a circle. Prosperity is an attitude of mind which manifests outwardly in the form of health, fulfilment, happiness, and joy. Tasks completed with joy and love carry within them seeds of abundance and prosperity. 

To activate the law of prosperity, we have to give first. 

Give whatever you can give. It can be a hug, a compliment, love, warmth, a hot meal, a donation to an organisation you would like to support, or an investment into a training, course or workshop that will help you to acquire valuable skills and move forward.

If you don’t know what you can give turn inwardly and ask you higher Self whom you can support at this very moment or what you can share. 
We have always more to give then we might initially realise. 
Expecting to get something for nothing indicates a fundamental misunderstanding of the basic universal law. We reap what we sow and there is no other way.
In other words, you get what you radiate in thoughts, emotions, words, deeds and actions. If you genuinely emit trust, unshakable belief, courage, abundance, love, joy, generosity & positivity the same qualities will be reflected back to you. 

This universe is all about balance. Just like giving it is equally important to receive. 

Did you know that receiving is an art? It implies letting go of control and allowing good things to float into your life easily and effortlessly! 
And did you know that your relationship with money is representative of the relationship you have with yourself?

Receiving is the opposite of control, trying hard or pushing. 
Do you allow yourself to accept all the good things such as love, care, nourishment, joy and fulfilment? 
Guilt, shame and the feeling of non-deserving (sacral chakra and heart chakra) play often a big role when someone experiences a lack of abundance and prosperity in life.

You get what you subconsciously believe you are worthy of receiving! Everything is already given to you! It remains only invisible because you don’t believe that you can really have what you desire at the deepest core of your BEING!

The moment you stop hiding behind the little or helpless child version and open up to receiving, give yourself permission to let your heart’s desire in into your life and say out loud:

” I CAN HAVE IT; IT’S NOT A BIG DEAL”,

is the moment when the shift happens! You start to behave differently, your energy field expands and the reflections of the new beliefs and tangible results will start to show up sooner than later in your physical life!
