Your Soul’s Plan: Discovering the Real Meaning of the Life You Planned Before You Were Born
Your Soul’s Gift
A Memoir of Trauma and Transcendence
“What you feel and experience of yourself in this present moment is only the tip of the iceberg. The majority of you resides below the surface, out of sight and immeasurable. You will never know the precise contours of what lies beneath from purely tangible evidence. But you are vast, and you can open to this vastness as a sensation. Stay patient and listen to the subtle sensations of the inner body. They are truly transcendent. When you connect at this level, wonderful things begin to happen, and not just in your asana (yoga) practice. You will open to and believe in the vastness of who and what you are.” Matthew Sanford, A Memoir of Trauma and Transcendence Book Description Publication Date: 4 Aug 2008 Matt Sanford’s life and body were irrevocably changed at age 13 on a snowy lowa road. On that day, his family’s car skidded off an overpass, killing Matt’s father and sister and leaving him paralyzed from the chest down and confined to a wheelchair. His mother and brother escaped from the accident unharmed but were left to pick up the pieces of their decimated family. This pivotal event set Matt off on a lifelong journey, from his intensive care experiences at the Mayo Clinic to becoming a paralyzed yoga teacher and founder of a non-profit organization. Forced to explore what it truly means to live in a body, he emerges with an entirely new view of being a whole person.”Waking” is a chronicle of that process. By turns agonizingly personal, philosophical, and heartbreakingly honest, this groundbreaking memoir takes the reader inside the body, heart, and mind of a boy whose world has been shattered. The author allows us to follow with him as he rebuilds from the ground up, searching for healing stories to help him reconnect his mind and his body. To do so, he must reject much of what traditional medicine tells him and instead turn to yoga as a centerpiece of his daily practice. The author finds not only a better life, but meaning and purpose in the mysterious distance that we all experience between mind and body. In searingly candid, frequently poetic language, Sanford pulls back the curtain on what it means to survive devastating trauma, from returning to a broken life to the uncertainty of finding sexual intimacy with a paralyzed body. But first and foremost the author offers a powerful message about the endurance of the human spirit, and of the body that houses it.

Living The Wisdom Of The Tao:
Building on wisdom from Hindu, Christian, and Kaballah traditions, this comprehensive guide to energy healing reveals the hidden stresses, beliefs, and attitudes that cause illness. Anatomy of the Spirit is the boldest presentation to date of energy medicine by one of its premier practitioners, internationally acclaimed medical intuitive Caroline Myss, one of the “hottest new voices in the alternative health/spirituality scene” (Publishers Weekly). Based on fifteen years of research into energy medicine, Dr. Myss’s work shows how every illness corresponds to a pattern of emotional and psychological stresses, beliefs, and attitudes that have influenced corresponding areas of the human body. Anatomy of the Spirit also presents Dr. Myss’s breakthrough model of the body’s seven centers of spiritual and physical power, in which she synthesizes the ancient wisdom of three spiritual traditions-the Hindu chakras, the Christian sacraments, and the Kabbalah’s Tree of Life-to demonstrate the seven stages through which everyone must pass in the search for higher consciousness and spiritual maturity. With this model, Dr. Myss shows how you can develop your own latent powers of intuition as you simultaneously cultivate your personal power and spiritual growth. By teaching you to see your body and spirit in a new way, Anatomy of the Spirit provides you with the tools for spiritual maturity and physical wholeness that will change your life.

The Dark Side of the Light Chasers by Deborah Ford
Debbie Ford believes that we each hold within us a trace of every human characteristic that exists, the capacity for every human emotion. We are born with the ability to express this entire spectrum of characteristics. But, Ford points out, our families and our society send us strong messages about which ones are good and bad. So when certain impulses arise, we deny them instead of confronting them, giving them a healthy voice, then letting them go. It is to these feelings that Ford turns our attention, these parts of our selves that don’t fit the persona we have created for the rest of the world. She shows us the effects of living in the dark, of keeping all our supposedly unsavory impulses under wraps. We find ourselves disproportionately frustrated and angry at the selfishness of friends, the laziness of colleagues, the arrogance of siblings. When we are unable to reconcile similar impulses in ourselves, Ford explains, we waste our own energy judging others instead of empathizing. But most importantly, we deny ourselves the power and freedom of living authentically. Through the stories and exercises in The Dark Side of the Light Chasers, Debbie Ford shows us not only how to recognize our hidden emotions, but also how to find the gifts they offer us. This is for fans of Marianne Williamson, Neale Donald Walsch, and Deepak Chopra. The very impulses we most fear may be the key to what is lacking in our lives.

Sugar Blues by William Dufty
Review by a customer “Sugar Blues” will change your outlook on sugar forever. It opened my eyes to pay attention to what I put in my body. This book is hard to read at times and does appear to be very opinionated, but it had a great impact on my life. I have been eliminating sugar from my diet and I have never felt better. I had gained a lot of weight during the last year and had little energy. I have made a conscious effort to put to use the tips in this book and I have a new lease on life. My energy seems to go up every day. If you like this book another that I have read is:”Get the Sugar Out”. It includes a few sugarless recipes as well. Please read this book if you are having ANY health problems or a low energy level. This will change your life forever.

Miracles Happen: The Transformational Healing Power of Past-Life Memories, October 2012
As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas. Yet these memories allowed her to recover from her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks in a way he’d never experienced. His skepticism eroded further when she began to channel messages from “the space between lives” and reveal truths about his dead son that she never could have known. Now a leader in the field of past-life therapy, Dr. Weiss has helped thousands connect with their past lives and experience tremendous healing. In Miracles Happen, Weiss, along with his daughter, Amy, shares these remarkable real-life stories to reveal how past-life regression holds the keys to our spiritual purpose. The awareness that we have multiple lifetimes, separated by spiritual interludes on the other side, helps to dissolve the fear of death and bring more peace and joy into the present moment. And in Miracles Happen, personal stories, accompanied by Dr. Weiss’s inspiring teachings, reveal how getting in touch with our past lives can profoundly and permanently heal mind and body. In the end, we come away inspired, renewed, and assured of the truth that we are eternal beings who are free to heal our current wounds by better understanding our past. It’s a practice that helps us improve our current lives, evolve along our spiritual paths, and live each day with purpose.
Dying To Be Me: My Journey from Cancer to Near Death, to True Healing
In this truly inspirational memoir, Anita Moorjani relates how, after fighting cancer for almost four years, her body-overwhelmed by the malignant cells spreading throughout her system-began shutting down. As her organs failed, she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience where she realized her inherent worth… and the actual cause of her disease. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita found that her condition had improved so rapidly that she was able to be released from the hospital within weeks… without a trace of cancer in her body! Within these pages, Anita recounts stories of her childhood in Hong Kong, her challenge to establish her career and find true love, as well as how she eventually ended up in that hospital bed where she defied all medical knowledge. As part of a traditional Hindu family residing in a largely Chinese and British society, she had been pushed and pulled by cultural and religious customs since she had been a little girl. After years of struggling to forge her own path while trying to meet everyone else’s expectations, she had the realization, as a result of her epiphany on the other side, that she had the power to heal herself . . . and that there are miracles in the Universe that she had never even imagined. In Dying to Be Me, Anita freely shares all she has learned about illness, healing, fear, “being love,” and the true magnificence of each and every human being! This is a book that definitely makes the case that we are spiritual beings having a human experience . . . and that we are all One!
Women Who Run With The Wolves
‘Women Who Run With The Wolves isn’t just another book. It is a gift of profound insight, wisdom, and love. An oracle from one who knows.’ Alice Walker In the classic Women Who Run With The Wolves, Clarissa Pinkola Estes tells us about the ‘wild woman’, the wise and ageless presence in the female psyche that gives women their creativity, energy, and power. For centuries, the ‘wild woman’ has been repressed by a male-orientated value system which trivializes women’s emotions. Using a combination of time-honored stories and contemporary casework, Estes reveals that the ‘wild woman’ in us is innately healthy, passionate and wise. Thoughtfully written and compelling in its arguments, Women Who Run With The Wolves gives readers a new sense of direction, a self-confidence, and purpose in their lives.

This book explains why effective talk can be truly transformative and provides a practical guide to having the kinds of conversations that will turn your life around. Ein Kurs in Wundern
(im Original: A Course in Miracles).
