The Autumn Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere represents a point of perfect balance on the journey through the wheel of the year.

Day and Night are of equal length and in perfect equilibrium – light and dark, feminine and masculine, inner and outer, in balance.

No matter if you are based in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere, you will feel a shift of energy during an Equinox.

And you will most likely also feel that something has to be released and let go of during this shift to create space of the the new season or to enable the new to come into full bloom.

We cannot escape the cycle of Birth and Death. As soon as we have learned the lessons from one cycle, a new cycle begins to offer us another opportunity for transformation, expansion and evolution.

Experiences are the purpose of life but none of the experiences should pull us down or bind us since everything is transitionary and temporary in nature.

Everything in life is a dance between masculine and feminine polarities, a play between stillness and movement, a play between soft and strong.
A play between being in LOVE with life and experiencing the highest form of devastation that breaks our heart open so that we can continue to be receptive to the wonders of all of creation that lie beyond our current ability to comprehend why things happen as they did or as they do.

Unless we have tasted the nectar of our True Essence we will keep analysing why things have happened as they did. Overthinking and overidentification with past events is a play of the mind that keeps us glued the the material existance and stands in the way of experiencing true inner freedom.

When we are free from our past negative experiences and the attached emotions it becomes easy to connect with our True Self, and we can taste the sweetness of our real essence more often while life is happening – even at times when there many challenges that we need to overcome.

Once you reach this stage, you can play, and life becomes an ecstatic explosion of synchroniciets and there will be a certain level of detachment.

From a pure and unpolluted state we have access to infinite possibilities, and we can start to jump time lines and parallel realities as long as they are aligned with our higher purpose.

Inviting new LOVE and the ability to forgive

The beginning of a new romantic relationship can have a highly catalytic effect to enliven, enchant, enhance, rejuvenate and invigorate your life and those around you.

Falling in Love feels often like stepping into a whole new parallel world where you experience a sense of joy, unity and oneness and filter everything through higher consciousness. It feels as if the veil has been lifted and something within you and around you has magically changed.
The world is brighter and lighter and you forget about your worries and burdens for a moment.

The beauty of new love has the potential open you up to a deeper level of divine love and tap into higher dimensions, an altered reality full of magic, pleasure, ecstatic moments of synchronicity, delightfulness and bliss.

Everything is possible when you start a new relationship.

However, if you begin the relationship from a lower emotional state such as neediness, emotional states of fear, insecurity or judgemental attitude, those patterns will be most likely enhanced so that you have the opportunity to become more aware of them and to do the necessary inner work. And then of course there is also a possibility to move to an even higher frequency with your newly chosen partner if both of you embody already the state of compassion, inner peace, inner contentment, a sense wholeness and LOVE.

From the perspective of the parallel reality concept, you will not go in resonance with toxic relationships once you ascend to a higher dimension. Yes, this world has many different frequencies but you can become invisible to someone who is negatively polarised if you vibrate yourself at the frequency of unconditional love and keep your heart space pure and clean.

And as a rule of thumb remember that a new romantic relationship will pave the way for growth, transformation and evolution and can even reset your entire life completely, giving it new meaning and direction.
Even short-term relationships can offer a wealth of learning opportunities and leave a lasting impact on your life.

When people say “once in a blue moon” they are speaking about this rare occurrence that takes place in August 2023

August 2023 is indeed a very special and unique month. The intensity of a Full Moon is already powerful, but during a blue moon, this energy is amplified.

The Aquarius Full Moon had arrived at the top of the month on August 1st. And as a lunar cycle is 29.5 days, we are set for another Full Moon on August 31st, a Blue Moon in the sign of Pisces.

The term Blue Moon refers to the second full moon in the same month. When people say “once in a blue moon”, they are speaking about this rare occurrence.

A Blue Moon is an infrequent celestial event and a highly auspicious time that holds extra power for renewal, spiritual evolution, transformation and healing, and of course it is simultaneusly a powerful opportunity for letting go of old patterns that prevent growth.

What colour is a blue moon?

Blue moons are not blue. Blue moons remain the same colour as any other full moon except in two rare cases. During a lunar eclipse, the Moon can turn blood red, lit only by the light that is bent around the Earth by its atmosphere onto the face of the Moon. As lunar eclipses occur only during full moons, and blue moons are one type of full moon, very rarely a blue moon turn red.

In extremely rare circumstances, the Moon can appear blue, e.g. when you look at the moon through a haze of dust particles can can be present from a recent volcanic eruption for example.

How often does a blue moon occur?

Normally blue moons come only about every two or three years. In 2018 unusually, we had two blue moons in one year and only two months apart – and one was a lunar eclipse! The next time we will get two blue moons in a year will be 2037.

You will most likely notice at the peak of the Blue Moon that your intuition, creativity, imagination, connection to the universe and spiritual gifts are heighened, and you will therefore find it much easier to realise even those goals during a Blue Moon that seemed to be out of reach up so far.

Astrological meaning of a Blue Moon

In astrology, a blue moon is seen as a unique occurrence because it represents an unusual event that disrupts the regular lunar cycle. A blue moon can also highlight areas where we must let go or make changes.

A Full Moon represents a state of wholeness. A state of total fulfilment and satisfaction where the energy of the Divine Mother is heightened and easier felt /accessible. To many ancient civilisations the moon was crucial to estimate the perfect time for sowing and harvesting.

Full Moon holds also tons of potential for spiritual evolution and that’s why it is highly recommended to even stay awake during the night and dedicate this time for Sadhana (Spiritual Practice). Our ancestors have been aware of this fact and that’s why they used to stay awake the entire night during a full moon .

From the scientifical point of view we are aware that the moon governs the ebb, flow and the tides. This applies especially during a full and a new moon when the moon falls in line with the earth and the sun which increases the gravitational force. Just like the moon changes its form our moods and feelings change and some people can find it challenging to deal with the highly charged energy of the full moon.

‘Lunacy’, the Moon and madness

“For millennia, there has been a widespread belief in the association between the Full Moon and extremes of behaviour linked with mental illness,” historian John J. Johnston writes in The Moon exhibition book. “The very word ‘lunatic’, now thankfully outmoded, is an indicator of the former pervasiveness of this conviction among the general public and medical professionals alike.”

Goddesses and Gods that are associated with the Moon

The Celtic Moon Goddess Rhiannon was born at the first Moon Rise and is known as the Divine Queen of Faeries. She is the Goddess of fertility, rebirth, wisdom, magick, transformation, beauty, artistic inspiration and poetry. The story of Rhiannon teaches us that with truth, patience, and love we can create change no matter how bleak life seems at the moment.

In Hinduism meanwhile the god Chandra embodies the movement and changing faces of the Moon, and is closely aligned with periods of sickness and health.

In one story, Chandra is cursed by 26 of his wives for spending too much time with the 27th wife. His resulting illness ‘waxes’ and ‘wanes’, echoing the cycle of the Moon.

Tsukuyomi, or also Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto, is the moon deity in Japanese mythology. The addition of no-Mikoto to his name means, “The Great God Tsukuyomi.” Tsukuyomi means something like “moon-reading,” and it is linked back to a long time ago in Japan when people would sit up and gaze at the moon and read poetry. He is like the moon, in that he is beautiful, serene, caring for order and justice, but he is often portrayed as an evil character in Japanese mythology.

Selene, daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia, was the personification of the moon. Her brother Helios shone as the sun, while her sister Eos was the goddess of the dawn. Though Selene had many consorts, the most famous of them was Endymion, a handsome young mortal. When Selene spied him sleeping in a cave, she immediately fell in love and asked Zeus to extend his sleep for all eternity.

The name “Selene” (Greek Σελήνη, translit. Selḗnē) was also the ancient Greek word meaning “moon.”

Fresh start

We have also another opportunity for a new, fresh and empowered start on the New Moon in Leo which takes place on the 16th of August.

The new moon is a starting position. It is a time of sowing seeds and visioning for the month ahead. It is a time to dream, connect to your intuition, imagine and conceive new ideas, and to begin new projects or undertakings. You can reinvent yourself and set your priorities straight.

Im August kommt es zum Phänomen des „Blue Moons“ – zweimal Vollmond – Supermond

Im August 2023 gibt es gleich zwei Super-Vollmonde. Der Monat begann am 1. August mit einem Super-Vollmond im Luftzeichen Wassermann und er endet mit einem Super-Vollmond (Blue Moon), im Zeichen Fische am 31. August.

Der Wassermann ist besonders für seinen Freiheitsdrang und seine Individualität bekannt. Es ist eine starke Energie, die daran interessiert ist, über die eigenen und kollektiven Grenzen hinauszuwachsen und etwas Neues zu erfinden. Der Fische-Vollmond kann ebenfalls, ähnlich wie der Wassermann, für eine Zeit der Erleuchtung und Bewusstseinserweiterung stehen.

Die Redewenung “Once in a Blue Moon” (alle Jubeljahre einmal) wird in der Umgangssprache dazu verwendet, um ein seltenes oder außergewöhnliches Ereignis zu beschreiben. Ein Blue Moon ist im englischen Sprachraum die Bezeichnung für einen zweiten Vollmond innerhalb eines Monats.

Wie oft kommt “Blue Moon” vor?

Dies passiert in 100 Jahren ca. 41 Mal – im Durchschnitt rund alle 2,5 bis 3 Jahre.

Vollmond ist immer dann, wenn Sonne und Mond in Opposition zueinander stehen.

Was bedeutet Super-Vollmond

Ein Supermond tritt auf, wenn der Mond seinen erdnächsten Punkt erreicht hat.

Welche Bedeutung hat der Vollmond sonst?

Vollmond kennzeichnet den Höhepunkt eines Ereignisses.

Jetzt wird sichtbar, was in den vergangenen Zyklen angeregt wurde. Was bisher kontrolliert oder geheim gehalten wurde, kommt nun zum Vorschein. Deswegen kommt es so oft zu Eskalationen und Konflikten in dieser Phase. Die Gefühle lassen sich nicht mehr unterdrücken. Nicht selten treten die ansonsten in den Tiefen der Seele verborgene Aggressionen explosionsartig an die Oberfläche. Man kann es auch in offiziellen Statistiken sehen: es passieren viel mehr Unfälle um die Vollmondzeit. Viele Menschen sind einfach nur gereizter oder fühlen sich innerlich unruhig.

Es wird geraten keine wichtigen Entscheidungen bei Vollmond zu treffen.

Der Vollmond ist aber auch eine Zeit der erhöhten Kreativität, Kraft, Verbundenheit zur weiblichen Urkraft und Intuition. Besonders sensible Menschen berichten häufig über Schlafstörungen bei Vollmond.

Vollmond war schon seit Urzeiten ein für alle Völker wichtiger Termin für Rituale, Gebete, Wünsche und Heilungen. In den alten Kulturen war der Mondkalender „maßgebend“, bevor der Sonnenkalender eingeführt und von ihm abgelöst wurde.

Dabei kannst du all die Dinge und Ereignisse auflisten, die verringert werden sollten (wie der abnehmende Mond nach Vollmond), Gewicht, einschränkende Glaubenssätze, Zeitmangel, Probleme, Geldsorgen, Krankheiten, Ängste, Zweifel usw. Ich arbeite viel mit ätherischen Ölen und alle Rituale die ich durchführe beinhalten ätherische Öle.
